JANET KITTO is a writer living on the south shore of Vancouver Island in the Pacific Northwest.

Janet grew up in the rural area of Goldstream, BC. Forest giants protected her, trunks rough and warm, full of bird song, and the carpets of wildflowers, pine needles and leaves softened her world as an outsider. One day a bookmobile stopped in front of her, opened its door, and beckoned her into the mysteries of Nancy Drew. The gift of that first library card took Janet inside the human body, into the minds of lovers and thieves, and across the oceans of the world.
